Challenges and solutions

Logistics vs. security problem due to the constant presence of moving ferries in addition to the vortices created by the Saguenay current. Problems partially resolved by using a direct communication system between the diving team and the ship captains. In addition, access to the water was guaranteed by the descent of the diver by a hydraulically driven cage between the buttresses of the structures in the interior section between the rock massifs and the deck of the wharves.
